The Megalodon is a classic clean boost in every sense and will help your solos cut through the mix, but many players choose to leave theirs on all the time for the Class A sparkle it adds to their tone.

The Megalodon Super Solo is developed for overdriving tube amplifiers yet keeping the high end bite and crispness of your original tone.

The circuit uses 70's NOS Class A Drivers and generally sounds better using carbon 9v batteries instead of alkaline.

The left hand knob is adjusted first to get the correct amount of Class A "bite" and gain from the driver stage.  This control also increases the internal gain required.  After the desired bite level is selected, set the volume level to get the required amount of gain for your application.
