Here we have a beautiful sounding Martin! This 1971 D-28 has been well played over the years but haas just received a fresh professional restoration by our luthier and is playing very well.
This Martin features its original Grover USA machine heads and a new Ebony Martin bridge and black pickguard has been installed by our luthier. A passive under saddle pickup has also been previously installed which is functioning well.
There are signs of wear and age including lacquer checking, small marks some deeper scratches as pictured. There is also a previous professional split repair to the top below the bridge. The frets are in great condition with some wear forming on the 1st & 2nd string areas on the lower frets.
A wonderful vintage Martin that looks, sounds and plays beautifully! Comes with an aftermarket hardshell case.
