Pre-owned in excellent condition, Gibson Les Paul comes from Gibson's Smartwood Exotic series. This is a nice lightweight Les Paul that feels and plays very familiarly. 

There are some light signs of wear and use including some light scratches and tiny lacquer dings. Overall this guitar presents very well and the gold hardware still shines nicely. The frets show a very small amount of wear with plenty of life left.

Comes with original hemp hardshell case with one broken latch.

The Smartwood Exotic line (1996-2002) included six limited-run models constructed from wood certified by the Rainforest Alliance. Each Smartwood guitar featured tops made from different woods harvested from forests certified in accordance with the rules of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). 

The mahogany used in the construction of this model (body and neck) is from similarly certified forests. The Smartwood Exotic guitars have a thinner, belly contoured body... more than the Studio (somewhat similar to that of the Les Paul Custom Lite), and have "smart wood" written on the truss rod cover.
