Pre-owned in excellent condition, this Fender Vintage Hot Rod '52 Telecaster is finished in a classic Butterscotch Blonde with a 1-ply black pickguard. This guitar came fitted from factory with a Symour Duncan '59 humbucking neck pickup which sounds great in combination with that classic Tele twang from the bridge.
There are some light signs of wear on this guitar with a tiny lacquer ding below the bridge and some patina to the hardware. The frets show a small amount of wear with plenty of life left.
A very neat Telecaster with a harder to find HS pickup configuration. Comes with original hardshell case.
"On its 1951 introduction, the Telecaster was a revolutionary instrument that would usher in whole new eras of musical innovation and excitement. Sixty years later, in 2011, it is an archetypal electric guitar with a long and storied history. The rich history of Fender guitars begins with the Telecaster, and we're celebrating its 60th anniversary all year with 12 very special "Tele-bration" models that stay inside the Telecaster's famously elegant lines while offering the finest and most unusual takes on the instrument's past, present and future.
This is a Vintage Hot Rod series Telecaster model with a Seymour Duncan® '59 humbucking neck pickup and an innovative new vintage-style bridge with three brass saddles that now allow precise intonation of each individual string."
