Pre-owned in excellent condition, this Fender Made in Japan Hybrid II Jazz bass comes from the 2024 collection and looks great in a natural finish. This bass has also been upgraded with Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder pickups.

This bass has been well looked after and shows only light signs of wear with small marks from use. Overall this bass presents very well and the frets show minimal wear.

Its newly designed Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil Jazz Bass® pickup with staggered pole piece and P Bass® pickup coupled with an alder body provides a tone set for a variety of players – from the tight sound of the P Bass® to the powerful vintage tone of the P Bass®.

Together these Quarter Pound bass pickups provide a sonically full voice with a hold on to your hats high-output punch. Each strike of the string provides a full low-end bite with plenty of sustain. They’ve provided their unique punch for bass players from Blink 182, Alien Ant Farm, Rise Against, Bad Religion and Smashing Pumpkins. Players who have a P-J bass will now be able to get the rich tone of the Quarter Pound pickups with our P-J 4-String Bass Set.

The Quarter Pound for Jazz Bass was designed to deliver hot output, great attack, and massive attitude. The quarter-inch diameter poles and intense coil winding deliver a full, even response, with great sustain and sonic richness. The magnets on the Quarter Pound P-bass pickup expand the magnetic field and extend the frequency ranges for a fat, full, punchy sound with tremendous mid-range presence and maximum output. Though often used for heavy rock tones, this pickup set offers amazing tonal versatility, making it a favorite across the board in live and studio settings.

These pickups shine in classic rock, hard rock, punk, grunge and metal applications. For more versatility you can add a 2 or 3 band tone circuit. Each pickup is hand built in Santa Barbara, California.
