Pre-owned in very good condition, this Fender Elite Telecaster dates to 1983 and is sounding great. This Elite Telecaster has been freshly setup and is playing well, a great find for the collector of '80s Fender curiosities.

This guitar shows some signs of wear and age from the last 41 years including some very small scratches and marks to the finish (as pictured). The original switch has also been replaced as part of a service and there is one screw missing on the battery cover plate. The frets also show wear including flattening and divots as you'd expect of a guitar of this age.

A cool piece of 1980's Fender history, comes with original hardshell case.

"The Elite Telecaster showcases all the radical (for the time) changes made to the traditional Tele. These include a heavy cast 6-saddle top-loading bridge, noise-cancelling pickups with alnico 2 magnets, active TBX and MDX tone controls capable of creating fat humbucking and cutting single-coil sounds (similar controls continue to be used on the current Eric Clapton Strats), knobs with a serrated rubber insert for easy gripping, and a Gibson-style, 3-way toggle switch. Elite Tele necks featured a Bi-flex truss rod, jumbo frets, and a 12" radius fretboard. This guitar also sports a classy bound top and an optional stick-on pickguard."
