Pre-owned in excellent condition, this Fender Custom Shop Telecaster looks fantastic with that faded surf green finish and the classic '59 double bound styling. This guitar is playing great with a nice low action, unique vintage compound radius and '59 Large "C" neck profile.
There are very few signs of wear including minimal fret wear and the minimal shadow of very light lacquer burn from a guitar stand on the base of the body.
A fantastic custom shop telecaster with original hardcase, case candy and Certificate of Authenticity.
By the late 1950s, the Telecaster had firmly established its reputation as the premier workhorse guitar, but for the player seeking a guitar with the versatility of a Tele and a more distinct personality, the choices were few and far between. Enter the Telecaster Custom, which debuted in 1959, sporting an elegant double-bound body and alluring rosewood fingerboard – both firsts for the Telecaster. The Vintage Custom 1959 Telecaster Custom boasts the same refined look as the original, along with some rare and compelling features from the Tele's formative years that modern players and vintage tone hounds alike will appreciate. It comes equipped with hand-wound '58 Tele single-coil pickups and Fat '50s wiring for wide-open Tele tone that can easily handle any playing situation. The neck features a vintage 7.25"-9.5" compound radius, which is found on some rare examples, giving it a unique feel even among vintage-inspired models. It also features medium vintage frets (47095), which are slightly larger than a vintage size and very comfortable to play.
