The latest and greatest from Danelectro has arrived — and it’s bringing the 1950s back with it!
Based on Danelectro's iconic short-horn aesthetic, the Dan-O-Mano brings together old-school construction and some seriously punchy modernised electronics. The result? A guitar that's got plenty of vintage charm but isn't afraid to throw some attitude at your amplifier.
Under the hood you'll find two P90-style single-coil pickups, with the neck pickup wound approximately 20% hotter and the bridge a whopping 30% hotter than standard vintage outputs. Translation: more output, more bite, and plenty of harmonic muscle when you start pushing the amp.
The semi-hollow short-horn body keeps things light and lively, while the maple C-profile neck and rosewood fingerboard make for a comfortable, familiar playing experience.
And then there's the hardware — this is where the Dan-O-Mano really leans into its vintage Danelectro heritage.
You've got the 1954-style full-bell headstock, 1958-style skate key tuners, an aluminum nut, and a traditional rosewood saddle bridge. Better yet, an additional modern adjustable steel bridge is included, giving you the option of vintage flavour or modern practicality.
