Originally launched in 1959, Danelectro called it the “Deluxe” — which, frankly, feels like a massive understatement. This reissue takes that unmistakable vintage Shorthorn vibe and turns the cool factor up another notch, packing it with all the classic Danelectro goodness and a few seriously tasty upgrades.

You get Vintage ‘50s Lipstick® pickups, an intonatable U3 bridge, front-and-back binding, pointer knobs, and Gotoh® vintage 15:1 tuners. In other words: all the retro attitude, with the playability and hardware to back it up.

And that unmistakable semi-hollow Shorthorn shape? Still every bit as cool as it was back in the day.
