Here's a very cool Yamaha SA-700 Super Axe made in Japan in 1978. This guitar is a great semi-hollowbody with excellent tone and looks. This guitar is in good condition for its age and is fully functional.
There are some obvious blemishes and signs of wear on this Super Axe with the most noticeable being some small lacquer cracks on the back of the neck and some dings and dents all over (as pictured). There is also a screw hole from a previous machine head. The frets also show a fair amount of wear with divots forming in the 3rd to 1st string area.
A very cool vintage Japanese guitar that features great build quality and tone. Comes with original hardshell case that is in poor condition.
A model manufactured and sold from 1977 to 1983, it is still very popular with fans as a Japan vintage model due to its robust, polite and solid construction and finish unique to domestic production.
The body is made of hippo and beech laminate, the center block is made of spruce and maple, the neck is made of mahogany, and the fingerboard is made of rosewood.
The pickup is also equipped with an original humbucker, and it has standard specifications that are conscious of the ES-335.
