Here's a very special acoustic guitar! This 2013 McIlroy AJ226 was the first ever AJ226 built and was completed on the 12th of September 2013. The Solid Italian Val de Fiemme Spruce top and Solid Oriental Walnut back & sides produce a brilliant tone with a lot of projection.

There are small signs of wear from the last 10 years including one tiny ding on the top (as pictured) and one on the side of the neck. Overall this guitar presents very well indeed and sounds fantastic.

Comes with original Deluxe Hiscox case.

Handbuilt by Dermot McIlroy in Antrim, Ireland. The "A Series" is a mid-size jumbo, somewhere between a classical guitar and a traditional jumbo like a Gibson J200, and is the most popular McIlroy shape. Although slightly smaller than a large jumbo, it's volume, sustain and balance is remarkable. Very comfortable to play and suited to most styles of playing.
