You don't see these very often, a beautiful Maton Country Western 100 dating to the '60s. This guitar has been looked after well and is in very good pre-owned condition with a solid spruce top and bowl back design that projects a fantastic tone!
This guitar features signs of wear and age that you'd expect from a well played '60s guitar. The top has received a professional split & bridge repair in the past and the lacquer is checking all over the body (looks great). The floral finishing on the headstock is still intact which looks great!
This guitar is playing well with that lovely aged tone, the frets feature a fair amount of wear as you'd expect from an instrument of its age. The action is nice and playable, it is important to note that the saddle doesn't have much room left so a neck reset in the future could be a good idea.
This is a beautiful vintage Maton that is hard to come by in this well looked after condition. The original hardshell case is included.
