Pre-Owned Guild X-170T Archtop, Made in USA.

Excellent condition for it's age. Some light playing wear. Minimal fading to the gold hardware. Deep western stain orange finish looks great! Late model, circa 2002.

Some modifications from stock - originally the X-170T (tremolo model), featured a Guild-branded 'Bigsby-style' tremolo, which has now been replaced with a trapeze style tailpiece. The original pickups have been upgraded to gold TV Jones Filtertrons, with the factory coil tap switch now deactivated (the switch nearest to the cutaway).

Guild manufactured the X-170 between 1988 and 2002. The Guild X170 is a typical archtop jazz style single cutaway guitar, with multi-laminate maple body in medium-full size: 16 5/8" wide by 2 1/2" deep. Its slightly slimmer design makes the X170  more comfortable to hold and to play than a full depth jazz box. Guild pitched the X-170 Manhattan model as a highly versatile guitar- with rich, professional tone quality and excellence of workmanship at a moderate price.

Includes Epiphone hardshell case.
