Early 1971 Gibson SG Standard with Maestro Vibrola & Original Case. Nice vintage 'Angus' SG! Great overall condition with no breaks or major modifications.

One of the last "60s style" SG Standards, before the change to the less desirable "70s" style that appeared from late 1971~1972 onwards.

All original, except for the tuners being changed to newer Gibson Historics.

Cosmetically good condition, a few small marks and light scratches. Generally presents in great condition.

  • 2 great sounding original 'Patent Number' Humbuckers
  • 4 x Original pots, date 1971
  • Maestro tremolo, with arm
  • Tuners replaced with period-style Gibson Historic tuners. Tuner holes enlarged slightly to fit previous Schaller tuners. We have fitted new vintage style conversion bushings, along with the new Historic tuners to maintain the vintage look.
  • Original Landis case included
  • Small hole in pickguard from a previously added switch (now removed). Body cavity was slightly modified underneath this hole, to accommodate the switch.
