Awesome 1976 Gibson Les Paul Custom, in very player-grade condition.

Though not highly original, this is a magnificent guitar. Recent pro refret has made this an incredible player - far and above and stock '76 Custom! Incredibly buttery to play and sweet, singing tone - an instant favourite here at the shop.

This '76 Custom has been played, and shows some play 'minor' play wear for it's age, but cosmetically it presents nicely overall. The most notable section of wear is some buckle rash on the back, which has gone through to the wood.

It features the original 'T-Top' Gibso humbuckers, which sound excellent there are some replacement parts - which are noted in the full details below.

• Original T-Top pickups (gold covers are newer replacements)

• Original pickup rings, back plates, screws
• 3-piece neck with volute
• Ebony board and inlays in excellent condition. Small chip from refret on first fret.
• Back of the neck in very good condition (no large marks)
• Recent-ish refret with medium jumbo frets (9/10)
• Tuners have been changed to gold 'Gibson Deluxe' tulips. Holes are showing from previous tuners.
  
• Gotoh lightweight aluminium tailpiece (non-original)
• 4 pots replaced with newer 'CTS 500XL' and premium Angela Copper-Foil caps
• Gold 'straplock' strap buttons fitted (non-original)
• Missing original pickguard (later model included in case)
• Knobs replaced with period correct genuine Gibson gold top-hats
  
• Extra hole added at some stage - which has been plugged and painted over
