Rare Gibson John Lennon signature J-160E 'Peace' model - part of a limited edition run. Beautiful VOS / lightly aged finish. Authentic Beatles-y sound from the magnetic pickup! This one is in true collector grade, mint condition. Unplayed, with the plastic still on the scratchplate. Includes extra heavy duty hardshell case, with certificate of authenticity.

John Lennon and George Harrison both used Gibson J-160Es for much of the acoustic work heard on Beatles albums. In 1967, Lennon commissioned a psychedelic paintjob for his trusty J-160E for the "All You Need is Love" satellite broadcast (though Lennon opted not to play the guitar during the broadcast). This is a Limited Edition Replica of the Gibson that Lennon used faithfully while recording, in movies and for live performances. The Peace Model resembles Lennon's Guitar in 1969, after he stripped away the psychedelic paint job.
