This is a special one!
Rickenbacker 381/12V69, December 1993 model - in virtually 'unplayed' condition. Not only is this a rare guitar in it's own right, but to find one in this condition is just awesome.
Rickenbacker's premium model, the 381/12v69 is an particularly elegant instrument. Derived from a design dating back to 1957, this guitar is memorable for its hand-carved arch top and back. Employing only premium 'charactered' Maple, model 381/12V69 has a full bound body with 'checked' binding and extreme double cutaways, along with a bound crescent sound hole to complete this exquisite guitar.
Being almost 30 years old, this 381 is nicely settled in and has been well maintained - the truss rods adjust smoothly, and the neck is nice and straight. It plays very well, and holds it's tune beautifully. One of the nicest Ric 12's we've had through the store.
Includes original grey Ric hardcase (with key), owners manual, polish cloth and hang tag.
